Converse, in collaboration with Fragment and the concept store V.A., is releasing a special edition of the newly launched Jack Purcell 1935 model. Coinciding with the iconic silhouette’s 90th anniversary, this exclusive design will be available starting June 28, 2025, only at V.A. in Tokyo.
Dressed in classic black, the model features unique details created specifically for V.A., including signature logos from Fragment and V.A. on the heel tape and insoles. The design also includes a printed code and the phrase “VARIOUS ARTISTS,” referencing V.A.’s identity. A custom collaboration label is stitched onto the inner collar and revealed via exterior-facing seams—subtle yet intentional touches that underscore the design’s exclusivity.
A limited number of pairs will be available through an advance lottery, running from June 20 at 12:00 p.m. to June 23 at 10:00 a.m. JST. For those unable to attend in person, a small online release is also planned via the V.A. TOKYO ONLINE STORE, with updates announced on V.A.’s official Instagram account (@va.tokyo).
The shoe is priced at ¥19,800 (tax included) and offered in sizes ranging from 23cm to 30cm.
