Naijel Graph and Kunichi Nomura Launch ONE HUNDRED EIGHT CLUB Portrait Collection

Launching May 23, ONE HUNDRED EIGHT CLUB is a portrait book by NAIJEL GRAPH featuring 108 glasses-wearing individuals selected by Kunichi Nomura. Exhibitions will be held at GALLERY TARGET and EYEVAN Tokyo Gallery.

Artist NAIJEL GRAPH will release ONE HUNDRED EIGHT CLUB, a new portrait collection created in collaboration with writer and creative Kunichi Nomura, on May 23. The book features 108 portraits, referencing the symbolic number of human desires in Buddhism, and includes individuals from various backgrounds selected by Nomura—all chosen for how effortlessly they wear glasses. Each portrait is rendered in NAIJEL GRAPH’s signature illustrative style, and the collection is accompanied by forewords and afterwords penned by Nomura himself. The result is a compelling hybrid of art, storytelling, and cultural observation. The book will be available in a limited run of 300 copies and will launch at GALLERY TARGET, where an exhibition will run until May 31. Alongside the book, limited-edition boxed sets and original works by NAIJEL GRAPH will also be on display and for sale. In parallel, EYEVAN Tokyo Gallery will showcase the original drawings from the book through June 30. Exclusive merchandise such as T-shirts, tote bags, and postcards will also be available at the gallery.
