Undercover Refines “But Beautiful” in SS26 Men’s Collection

Jun Takahashi’s latest menswear offering revisits the theme of “but beautiful” with newfound restraint—softening distortion in favor of timeless silhouettes and everyday wearability, alongside standout collaborations with Vans, Champion, Dickies, and more.

For Spring/Summer 2026, Undercover continues to explore the theme of “but beautiful,” first introduced in the 2025–2026 AW women’s collection. This season, designer Jun Takahashi refines the concept, shifting from the overt asymmetries and deconstructed forms of the previous season to a quieter, more grounded approach.

The result is a menswear collection that leans into balance and restraint, offering garments that are not only visually compelling but also effortlessly wearable. Takahashi pares back the distortion seen in the women’s pieces, instead crafting silhouettes that merge seamlessly with everyday life—without losing the brand’s signature edge.

Key accessories and footwear collaborations elevate the collection with nuanced character. Highlights include reworked shoes with Vans, Guidi, George Cox, and OOFOS, as well as hats with Kijima Takayuki and sunglasses with FACTORY900. Jewelry projects with Noguchi and SEE REAL FLOWERS further diversify the texture and tone of the season’s look. Functional staples—such as reimagined basics with Champion and workwear with Dickies—round out the lineup, grounding the more poetic elements with utilitarian clarity.

Takahashi’s SS26 collection is not about radical reinvention, but about subtle transformation—retaining beauty even in the pared-back.
