Bottega Veneta has launched When Your Own Initials Are Enough, a Japan-exclusive campaign honoring individuality and self-expression. The project features two leading Japanese cultural figures: Tamori—an entertainer loved for decades across the nation—and Daiki Tsuneta, a genre-defying musician and creative force known for pushing artistic boundaries. Both embody the campaign’s message by trusting their own aesthetics and refusing to be confined by convention.
Alongside the campaign visuals, Tsuneta has composed an original track inspired by the brand’s slogan and infused with tribal and jazz elements. “I created this song for Bottega and Tamori-san. It’s a tribal piece built around the sound of the words ‘Bottega Veneta.’ The result is incredibly stimulating—please give it a listen,” says Tsuneta. The track celebrates individuality and fosters community through music as a shared language.
In an intentional nod to analog’s enduring charm, the song is released as a limited-edition cassette tape in special packaging, distributed at Bottega Veneta’s flagship stores in Ginza and Omotesando, select boutiques nationwide, and participating record shops—while supplies last. It will also be available on streaming platforms from August 18, 2025.
Further details, including distribution points, are announced on the campaign’s dedicated website.
