Hokaron x Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Bad Pharmacy Bring Warmth and Wit to Winter

Lotte’s long-loved Hokaron collaborates with the podcast Bad Pharmacy—hosted by TaiTan, Ryohei Kamiide, and Hiroshi Fujiwara—for a playful release that fuses everyday warmth with Tokyo’s creative energy.

Lotte will release Hokaron Bad Pharmacy Collaboration nationwide on November 10, 2025 (JST). The latest edition of Japan’s classic heat pack reimagines Hokaron’s red packaging through the eyes of Bad Pharmacy—a podcast hosted by rapper and creative director TaiTan, producer and director Ryohei Kamide, and legendary cultural figure Hiroshi Fujiwara.

Rooted in the shared desire to “warm everyone,” the collaboration unites Hokaron’s philosophy of everyday comfort with Bad Pharmacy’s tagline, “warming the world’s stomachs.” The design adopts the show’s signature ginger-inspired hue, while the compact mini-size reflects the hosts’ personal preference for pocket-friendly warmth.

Two versions will be available: Hokaron 10P Bad Pharmacy Collaboration (¥437 tax included) and Hokaron Haru 10P Bad Pharmacy Collaboration (¥470 tax included). Both offer up to nine hours of steady heat, with a maximum temperature of 70°C (average 56°C) for the standard type and 60°C (average 51°C) for the adhesive version.

Since its launch in 1978, Hokaron has remained a trusted winter essential, evolving with new technology while preserving its signature red identity. Now, through this witty and cross-cultural collaboration, Hokaron and Bad Pharmacy—led by Hiroshi Fujiwara and company—bring a new kind of warmth to Japan’s coldest season.
