Dior Unveils the Spectacular Bamboo Pavilion in the Heart of Daikanyama

Bridging Parisian elegance with Japanese craftsmanship, Dior opens the "Dior Bamboo Pavilion" in Tokyo—a 1,800-square-meter sanctuary featuring bamboo-gold architecture, Zen gardens, and the first "Café Dior" by Anne-Sophie Pic.

Dior has strengthened its enduring bond with Japan through the grand opening of the “Dior Bamboo Pavilion,” a breathtaking new destination located in the vibrant center of Daikanyama. The architectural marvel reimagines the iconic facade of the maison’s 30 Montaigne flagship in Paris, reinterpreting it with gold-tinted bamboo inspired by Japanese bamboo groves. Spanning over 1,800 square meters, this lush paradise honors Christian Dior’s profound love for nature, featuring a Zen-inspired garden by Seijun Nishibata, a pond with glass koi, and a verdant oasis designed by floral artist Azuma Makoto.

The interior offers a poetic journey through the various universes of Dior, presenting collections for both men and women designed by Jonathan Anderson, alongside leather goods, fine jewelry, and dedicated made-to-order rooms. The space harmonizes Dior’s timeless codes—such as the Versailles parquet flooring—with Japanese artistry, including delicate washi paper finishes and lanterns shaped like the legendary “Lady Dior” bag. For the ultimate lifestyle experience, the pavilion houses “Café Dior,” showcasing an exclusive menu by renowned chef Anne-Sophie Pic, serving as a culinary tribute to Monsieur Dior’s passion for French “art de vivre”. The Dior Bamboo Pavilion officially welcomes visitors starting February 12, 2026.
