Seiko, Fragment, and V.A. Synchronize for a High-Performance Metronome Watch

Fusing classical music utility with street-level sophistication, Seiko joins forces with Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Fragment and the concept store V.A. to debut a limited-edition timepiece designed for the modern creator.

Seiko, Fragment, and the concept store V.A. have unveiled a unique triple collaboration that officially arrives this Wednesday, February 11, 2026. This partnership reimagines the specialized metronome watch by Seiko Instruments, an analog timepiece designed to serve as a professional tool for musicians. Beyond standard timekeeping, the watch features a built-in metronome where the hands physically indicate the tempo, alongside a reference tone function for quick instrument tuning. It is a rare synthesis of technical precision and the refined aesthetic of Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Fragment and the V.A. concept store.

The design reflects a minimalist vision, with the dial featuring both the Seiko and Fragment logos, while the case back is etched with the insignias of all three collaborators. This edition includes custom-selected index colors and a durable, lightweight nylon NATO strap, ensuring the watch is as practical in a studio as it is on the street. Each piece is housed in a special PVC sleeve, emphasizing the experimental and curated nature of the project.

The SEIKO METRONOME WATCH FRAGMENT EDITION is priced at 44,000 yen and will be available in both black and white colorways. The collection will be available starting February 11 at the V.A. boutique in Jingumae, Shibuya, as well as through their official online store. This release marks a sophisticated intersection of horology and contemporary Japanese design, offering a functional piece of art for the modern era.
