A Bathing Ape and Comme des Garçons have announced a new capsule collection for the 2026ss season. Inspired by the theme of pop art, the collaboration reconstructs iconic motifs from both brands using graphic techniques that evoke the analog feel of screen printing. The collection relies on a monotone base accented with yellow and blue to enhance the visual impact of the graphics. Og designs including Ape Head, Baby Milo, and Bape Camo are updated with intentional blurring and misalignment to align with the pop art aesthetic.
The collection includes a range of apparel and accessories, with the Bape Store Comme des Garçons Osaka shop-in-shop serving as the exclusive retailer. The apparel lineup features four T-shirt styles, specifically the Camo Box Tee, Big Baby Milo Tee, Big Ape Head Tee, and Screen Tee, all available in black and white for 14,300 yen each. The coach jacket features a repeated Ape Head motif on the back, priced at 38,500 yen. Additional items include an oxford shirt for 28,600 yen, relaxed fit denim shorts for 38,500 yen, a panel cap for 14,300 yen, and a premium sheepskin Baby Milo leather shoulder bag for 88,000 yen. Small goods include a keychain for 6,600 yen and socks available in black or white for 3,850 yen.
The limited-edition items will be released on April 29, 2026, exclusively at the Bape Store Comme des Garçons Osaka.
