Twin Peaks Tokyo has announced a joint business venture with the global youth culture platform Complex to officially launch Complex Japan. The partnership, effective since March 2026, will see the rollout of the Complex Japan website, social media channels, video and audio content, events, and merchandise starting in June 2026. Originating in the United States, Complex has served as a cultural compass for over 23 years, wielding significant influence across music, fashion, sneakers, and pop culture. The platform is recognized for its unique integration of storytelling and experiential culture, capturing defining moments for the next generation.
Through this venture, Twin Peaks Tokyo intends to bridge Complex’s global cultural context with Japan’s local editorial strength and community-building capabilities. The project aims to establish a sustainable business foundation in Japan where content, community, commerce, and physical experiences are organically linked. Leading the initiative, Kohei Yamazoe, CEO of Twin Peaks Tokyo, will serve as Executive Producer, with Sachi Urano overseeing operational design. Yuki Abe, former Hypebeast Managing Editor, has been appointed as Editor-in-Chief. Together, they plan to build a unique cultural ecosystem that develops the brand’s value within the Japanese market.
