Graphpaper KYOTO Marks 5th Anniversary With Limited-Edition Deep Black Shirts

To celebrate its fifth anniversary, Graphpaper KYOTO presents exclusive deep black-dyed shirts crafted with Kyoto Montsuki—bringing heritage dyeing techniques to modern silhouettes.

Graphpaper KYOTO, located in a 100-year-old townhouse in the heart of Kyoto, celebrates its fifth anniversary with a release of exclusive commemorative items available from June 14.

The collection features Graphpaper’s signature broad stripe shirts and dresses, reinterpreted through a collaboration with Kyoto Montsuki—a renowned dye house that has specialized in formal black garments for over a century. Each piece undergoes Kyoto Montsuki’s deep black dyeing process, including their signature “shinkoku” treatment, which enhances the fabric’s depth and contrast. The result is a striking interplay of black tones, visible stripe patterns under light, and garment-dyed textures not seen in standard Graphpaper designs.

These limited-edition items, exclusive to Graphpaper KYOTO, embody the refined intuition and craftsmanship of Kyoto’s veteran dyers.
