Following last year’s successful run, weber’s “Big T-Shirt Exhibition” returns to Dover Street Market Ginza from July 18 to July 25. Centered around the theme of “Beautiful Chaos,” the event transforms DSMG’s curated space into an immersive gallery experience—where vintage T-shirts are recontextualized as cultural artifacts.

This year’s edition features a staggering lineup of approximately 1,000 vintage T-shirts, ranging from common finds to ultra-rare gems. Among them are more than 400 movie-themed tees, alongside pieces tied to contemporary artists like Marcel Duchamp, Damien Hirst, Mike Kelley, and experimental musicians including John Cage.

In addition to its deep archive, weber is introducing special new items that pay homage to iconic ’90s pop culture. A commemorative T-shirt celebrating the 30th anniversary of Toy Story utilizes a detailed 15-layer silkscreen technique and carefully selected inks to replicate the original texture and hand-feel. Each shirt comes in custom packaging inspired by vintage promotional record jackets. Kids’ sizes are also available, making it a nostalgic collectible for all ages.

Another highlight is the Fargo capsule, featuring four designs based on memorable scenes and posters from the Coen brothers’ Oscar-winning classic. Treated with vintage processing, these shirts capture the look and feel of aged originals—with soft textures, natural fading, and authentic print cracking that make each piece feel one-of-a-kind.

The campaign visuals for the exhibition feature a diverse cast of Tokyo creatives including Reiji Okamoto, Kan Takagi, Ed Tsuwaki, and Ranmaru Kishitani.
