Issey Miyake x Apple Introduce iPhone Pocket with 3D-Knitted Ease

Issey Miyake collaborates with Apple to create iPhone Pocket, a 3D-knitted accessory designed to move with your body. Launching November 14 (JST), the piece blends Miyake’s textile innovation with Apple’s minimalist functionality.

Issey Miyake and Apple have joined forces to present iPhone Pocket, a wearable accessory that transforms the idea of carrying technology into a study of form, texture, and motion. developed in Japan by Issey Miyake’s design team, the piece applies the brand’s long-standing philosophy of “a piece of cloth” to a new context—an adaptable textile pocket that flexes naturally with the body while holding an iPhone and daily essentials.

Crafted through a single 3D-knitting process, the open ribbed material stretches to fit items such as AirPods or cards and then returns to its original shape. when pulled slightly, the knit subtly reveals the outline of what’s inside, allowing a glimpse of the iPhone screen while maintaining privacy. designed to be handheld, tied to a bag, or worn across the body, iPhone Pocket exists somewhere between a pocket and a soft sculptural pouch.

The color palette reflects Issey Miyake’s signature balance between clarity and warmth. the short-strap design arrives in lemon, mandarin, purple, pink, peacock, sapphire, cinnamon, and black, while the long-strap version comes in sapphire, cinnamon, and black. priced at ¥25,800 (tax included) for the short strap and ¥39,800 (tax included) for the long strap, the iPhone Pocket is available now at select Apple Store locations and on apple.com across France, Greater China, Italy, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, the UK, and the U.S.
