Miyagihidetaka and Rafu Unveil Fall/Winter 2025 with Reversible Flannel and Hand-Aged Denim

Designer Hidetaka Miyagi frames FW25 around restraint: bandana staples, patch-worked military, and a hand-aged denim shirt from his archive. Rafu debuts a reversible flannel in original double-face cloth.

Miyagihidetaka continues to refine a simple rule: only make what he wants to wear. The line avoids unnecessary silhouettes and doubles down on signatures. Bandana pieces return, joined by military items that push his patchwork language beyond ornament and into structure. A new denim shirt anchors the drop—its stains and wear are recreated by hand, modeled after garments the designer has collected for years, so the patina reads lived-in rather than distressed.

Rafu deepens its fabric-first approach with a heavyweight flannel developed for colder months. The cloth is double-faced: one side plays with checks, the other channels Mexican rug-like stripes. It arrives in three colorways and is cut into a reversible shirt that flips mood without sacrificing weight or drape. The idea is pragmatic—two patterns in one—yet the finish feels decidedly crafted.

The Fall/Winter 2025 collection is now rolling out in Japan at the Miyagihidetaka Daikanyama store, the brand’s online store, and select retailers nationwide (JST).
