SWJP, a new brand launched for the spring/summer 2025 season, is a cross-Pacific project led by co-designers Sean Wotherspoon—based in Los Angeles and known for his multifaceted work as a designer, curator, and vintage collector—and Uchi, a Tokyo-based creative director and community curator. The brand breathes new life into vintage through updated silhouettes, materials, and detailing sourced from a vast global archive.
From June 20 to 29, SWJP will host its first-ever pop-up at Shibuya Parco. Alongside the full 25SS collection, the event will feature exclusive items including deadstock Nike Dunk Highs hand-stenciled with military graphics, T-shirts painted on-site, and limited-edition daruma figures crafted from upcycled leftover fabrics.
For the first three days of the pop-up, visitors who purchase items from the 25SS collection will have access to a special stencil customization service. On June 20 and 21, both Sean Wotherspoon and Uchi will be in-store to greet customers.
Highlights include the Dunk High MIL-Stencil, a set of ten vintage Dunk Highs from the 1990s and early 2000s, painted with graphics cut using a 1950s U.S. military stencil machine (¥36,300 tax included), and the LA to Tokyo Peace MIL-Stencil T-shirt, inspired by ’90s vintage and painted live in-store by artist TACO from June 20 to 22 (¥14,300 tax included). Also on offer is the SWJP × Mikazuki Shoten × Forever ever ART DARUMA, created in collaboration with Naoshima’s Mikazuki Shoten and the Forever ever project, featuring upcycled fabrics turned into collectible daruma sculptures (¥60,500–¥65,340 tax included, made to order).
