Play Comme des Garçons returns with a second wave of its rhinestone series—this time in the form of knitwear. Known for its playful heart logo and understated silhouettes, the brand now adds a subtle shimmer to classic staples with red and black rhinestone embellishments.

The collection includes three styles: a V-neck sweater (¥34,100 tax included), a crewneck cardigan (¥38,500 tax included), and a V-neck cardigan (¥39,600 tax included). Each piece comes in both red and black rhinestone versions and is offered in eight unisex sizes, ranging from XXXS to XXL.

The red rhinestone pieces feature the iconic red heart motif paired with red stones, offered in colorways such as black, navy, medium grey, burgundy, and bright red. Meanwhile, the black rhinestone edition introduces a tonal, more understated look—black stones on a black heart—set against light grey, light caramel, and black knits. Across the board, the signature heart emblem has been slightly reduced in size, allowing the rhinestone detailing to stand out.

The new rhinestone knits launch August 1 at PLAY Comme des Garçons stores across Japan, excluding the Aoyama flagship.
