The 1999 sci-fi classic The Matrix inspires a new collaboration from Weber, featuring a black cotton T-shirt that reproduces the film’s vintage key art with striking fidelity. Using a silkscreen process with 15 layers of American rubber ink, the print captures the characters’ intense expressions and the intricate texture of the iconic “Matrix code.” The shirt arrives in a nostalgic, VHS-inspired box—its worn finish and all-over code graphic nodding to late-’90s cyber culture—making it a piece to wear and collect alike. The T-shirt is 100% cotton, offered in M–XXL, and priced at ¥12,100 (tax included). In Tokyo, sales begin at Weber Tokyo (Jinnan, Shibuya) on Saturday, August 23 at 11:30 JST, followed by the brand’s online store at 12:00 JST the same day. To mark the occasion, the store will be open to the public for the weekend and, with support from Woodmarquee, will also present around 300 vintage T-shirts plus rare film posters—including The Matrix—on display and for sale.
