Protocol Index—newly rebranded from PROJECT G/R—kicks off its next chapter with a focused AW25 offering themed “Remixed Era,” a study in the collision of punk’s razor-edge attitude and the bold silhouettes of early-2000s hip-hop. Rather than leaning on nostalgia, the collection reframes those codes through contemporary construction and proportion, setting the tone for the label’s future direction.
To mark the launch, the brand takes over Nubian Harajuku from September 12–14 (11:00–20:00 JST), with the same-day rollout across Nubian Osaka, Shibuya, and Nagoya. Within the lineup, signature spliced and inverted pieces anchor the story. Highlights include the Upside Down Zip Hoodie in Multi Black or Multi Ivory at ¥46,200 (tax included), the Buttivore Zip Hoodie in White Melange at ¥44,000 (tax included), reconstructed melange-grey zip hoodies at ¥44,000 (tax included), and paneled hybrid denim—rendered either in pony-hair at ¥132,000 (tax included) or leather at ¥72,600 (tax included).
The cut-and-paste logic continues through layered track pants (¥41,800; tax included), folded-waist jorts (¥35,200; tax included), and the Blacklist Washed T-shirt (¥24,200; tax included). An official Evangelion collaboration debuts in store first during the pop-up—anchored by a black hoodie at ¥39,600 (tax included), a longsleeve at ¥30,800 (tax included), and multiple T-shirts (¥22,000; tax included)—with Nubian’s online store release set for September 19. A distressed graphic tee (¥22,000; tax included) and a racing cap (¥22,000; tax included) round out the graphic-driven drops.
The campaign visuals feature rising unit ALLDAY PROJECT (TARZZAN and BAILEY), underscoring the brand’s interface with music culture and street energy. Nubian Harajuku hosts the three-day event, with doors open 11:00–20:00 JST; customers can also find the collection at Nubian Osaka, Shibuya, and Nagoya on the same dates.
