Weber Honors Bruce Weber’s Let’s Get Lost with a T-Shirt Capsule Starring Jun Murakami

Marking the 4K restoration of Bruce Weber’s 1988 jazz documentary Let’s Get Lost, Tokyo label Weber releases a capsule of monochrome T-shirts that revisit the film’s iconic imagery—fronted by actor Jun Murakami.

To coincide with the theatrical release of Let’s Get Lost (4K restoration), Weber unveils a capsule collaboration that translates Bruce Weber’s cult documentary into four considered T-shirt designs. The drop lands on November 1 at Isetan Shinjuku and Weber Tokyo, with online sales following from November 2 at 12:00 (JST).

Three styles reconstruct non-commercial promotional tees and poster art from the original 1988 run, printed in plastisol to preserve an analog depth. Multi-layer screens—front and back with additional sleeve passes—create a finely graded monochrome that captures the era’s grain and tactility. A fourth design takes a contemporary route, placing the restoration’s key visual on the front with water-based double-tone printing; the ink blend and mesh tension are tuned to build contrast that ages beautifully over time.

All pieces use US-standard printable bodies washed and tumble-dried for a dry, vintage hand. Shot by Yuki Kumagai and starring Jun Murakami, the campaign echoes the film’s chiaroscuro and Chet Baker’s hushed solitude—why Let’s Get Lost remains a touchstone decades on.

The capsule releases November 1 at Isetan Shinjuku and Weber Tokyo, and online from November 2 (JST). Prices are ¥17,800 (tax included) for the three poster-derived styles and ¥12,800 (tax included) for the key-visual tee.
