Gosha Rubchinskiy is returning to Tokyo as part of the relaunch of his namesake label, opening a pop-up at GR8 in Harajuku from November 20 to 30. The designer will be present at the store on opening day, hosting a reception inside GR8 from 18:00 to 20:00 JST. Later that night, an afterparty will run from 22:00 to 03:00 JST at a separate Tokyo venue, with guests admitted through a raffle system.
The reboot of the brand signals a deliberate new chapter, rebuilding the label from the ground up and exploring a reinterpretation of modern wardrobe essentials. Upcoming releases will span outerwear, womenswear, and more experimental categories, with long-term plans that include a future approach toward haute couture. Alongside fashion, Rubchinskiy will publish a retrospective photobook documenting two decades of his work across youth culture, photography, and multidisciplinary expression.
Moving away from the traditional fashion-week calendar, the brand will debut through cultural events hosted in global cities including Japan, the United States, and China. The new collection will be available through gosharubchinskiy.com and select retailers worldwide.
The GR8 pop-up will take place at Laforet Harajuku (2.5F), offering visitors a chance to engage with the brand’s renewed direction at one of Tokyo’s key cultural hubs.
