Graphpaper and N.Hoolywood have come together for a special project celebrating the 30th anniversary of JB Voice, the Aichi–Gifu retailer known for its long-standing relationships with designers across Japan. The collaboration brings designers Takayuki Minami and Daisuke Obana back into partnership for the first time in four years, resulting in two pieces that “exchange” each brand’s iconic item and rebuild it through the other’s lens. The collection will be released on December 13 (Saturday).
Graphpaper takes on N.Hoolywood’s well-known 2-way M-65, reworking it in the label’s original Suvin herringbone fabric to create the Fishtail Mods Coat. While retaining the defining structure of the M-65, the coat is pared back with a clean, hoodless design. A detachable liner combines Pertex Quantum, ripstop, and Primaloft to deliver lightweight insulation, water resistance, and comfort suited to everyday urban wear. The result is a streamlined outer layer that balances military references with Graphpaper’s precise minimalism.
N.Hoolywood, in turn, reimagines Graphpaper’s tuck denim silhouette to create the Two Tuck Tapered Pants, building the piece in the brand’s signature 13oz denim. A vintage-inspired finish gives depth and character, while bespoke details—including a welted hip pocket, co-branded donut buttons, laser-printed lettering on the right back pocket, and an original flasher—underline the exclusivity of the collaboration. The piece reflects both brands’ mutual respect for construction, fabrication, and subtle design codes.
The Fishtail Mods Coat is priced at ¥143,000 (tax included) and the Two Tuck Tapered Pants at ¥52,800 (tax included). Both items will be available through Jack in the Box, the JB Voice flagship in Nagoya.
