Nanamica-produced The North Face Purple Label is teaming up again with London skate and streetwear label Palace Skateboards for a second Japan-only capsule collection, slated to release on December 20, 2025 (JST). The project builds on the pair’s 2021 partnership, returning to the shared idea of city-ready outerwear—this time framed as “Re: The City with Purple Wind,” and reconstructed from The North Face and The North Face Purple Label’s archive references.
Across the lineup, a high-density recycled nylon twill sets the tone, paired with WINDSTOPPER liner to help block wind while staying breathable. Several pieces add PFC-free water-repellent finishing, keeping the focus on practical performance for “true winter” urban conditions, while Palace’s pop sensibility comes through in co-branded detailing and its Tri-Ferg iconography, used alongside The North Face Purple Label branding.
The range centers on outerwear and cold-weather essentials, including a WINDSTOPPER Field Down Jacket with KODENSHI down at ¥84,700 (tax included), and a Mountain Wind Parka at ¥46,200 (tax included). The same two-tone nylon story continues into Mountain Wind Pants at ¥35,200 (tax included), plus accessories like the WINDSTOPPER Field Down Glove at ¥22,200 (tax included), WINDSTOPPER Field Cap with fleece ear coverage at ¥14,850 (tax included), and a Mountain Wind Waist Bag at ¥13,200 (tax included). A Mountain Wind Backpack lands at ¥35,200 (tax included), while a WINDSTOPPER Field Sweater in a wool-recycled nylon blend is priced at ¥59,400 (tax included). Graphic pieces round it out with a Field Graphic Hoodie at ¥25,300 (tax included) and a Field Graphic Tee at ¥13,200 (tax included), featuring The North Face Berkeley graphics and Tri-Ferg artwork.
The capsule will be available in Japan through nanamica stores and the brand’s online store, selected The North Face stores, Palace Skateboards stores, and Dover Street Market Ginza.
