Daiki Tsuneta, the creative force behind King Gnu and Millennium Parade, has announced a triple collaboration between his project Pointless Journey, Adidas Originals, and Atmos. Titled the “Superstar II Atmos Daiki Tsuneta Pointless Journey,” the latest model serves as a successor to the highly sought-after 2022 release. The project integrates the distinct identities of all three partners, blending Pointless Journey’s conceptual depth with Adidas’s craftsmanship and Atmos’s street-level sensibility.
The sneaker utilizes the classic Superstar silhouette, updated with a premium suede upper that extends to the signature shell toe. Available in DGH Solid Grey and Clear Onix, the design replaces the traditional side logo with Pointless Journey branding and features Tsuneta’s signature embroidered on the back of the tongue. A key feature of this release is its modularity; each pair includes two types of detachable long tongues, two sets of laces, and metal tongue pins, allowing the wearer to determine the final aesthetic. Lottery applications opened at noon on April 14, 2026, via the Adidas and Atmos apps, with a scheduled general release on April 25 at a price of 19,800 yen including tax.
