Verdy Partners with Wu-Tang Clan for an Exclusive Capsule Launch in Osaka

VERDY merges his signature visual subversion with the hip-hop collective's iconic iconography, debuting via a two-day physical residency at Henry's Pizza.

Staten Island’s legendary hip-hop collective, Wu-Tang Clan, is joining forces with prominent Japanese graphic artist Verdy to introduce an exclusive collaborative merchandise capsule. Commemorating the group’s journey to Japan, the capsule establishes a direct dialogue between American hip-hop legacy and contemporary Tokyo street aesthetics. The structural core of the layout infuses the classic Wu-Tang “W” emblem with Verdy’s fluid illustrative signatures, resulting in an array of specialized garments engineered for local lifestyle spaces.

The release includes targeted silhouettes that balance standard streetwear shapes with playful visual references to the activation site. Highlights include the Wu-Tang Clan x Wasted Youth Zip Hoodie priced at ¥16,500 (tax included) and the dedicated Wu-Tang x Wasted Youth T-Shirt for ¥7,700 (tax included). Incorporating localized imagery, the roster features a thematic Wu-Tang x Henry’s Pizza T-Shirt and a special edition Box Set variation retailing at ¥11,000 (tax included), alongside kids’ options for ¥5,500 (tax included). The compilation is completed by a white short-sleeve shirt incorporating the character Vick.

The collaborative merchandise is scheduled for an initial physical pre-release at Henry’s Pizza in Tanimachi, Osaka, operating from 12:00 to 19:00 JST between May 23 and May 24, 2026. To maintain structural order inside the venue, the host site plans to deploy purchase caps per item and potential entry lotteries depending on crowd densities. Following the physical engagement, the remaining assortment moves to an online layout, launching via Verdy’s Gift Shop on May 25, 2026, at 9:00 JST.
