Keen and FAF Team Up for First Collaboration on Uneek WK Hybrid Sandals

Keen partners with emerging Tokyo brand FAF for the first time, releasing a hybrid Uneek WK sandal fusing outdoor innovation and urban design—available now online and in select stores.

Outdoor footwear brand Keen has joined forces with FAF, a rising apparel brand based in Tokyo, for their first collaboration, available now via Keen’s online store, flagship locations, and select retailers. The collab centers on the Uneek WK, a next-generation open-air sneaker that blends Keen’s signature cord upper design with the rolling, curve-shaped “Keen.Curve” sole unit.

FAF’s original camouflage graphic, developed to straddle the digital and physical realms, is combined with high-gloss patent detailing and neon accents—a deliberate break from wartime codes. The result is a visually disruptive, anti-war statement piece that embodies the theme “urban vs. nature.”

Founded in 2003, Keen defines the outdoors as “anywhere without a ceiling,” and continues to pursue environmentally responsible manufacturing under the banner of “Consciously Created.” The Uneek WK features a recycled PET cord upper, a bio-based PU footbed, a compression-molded EVA midsole with nylon plate for enhanced propulsion, and a non-marking all-terrain rubber outsole.

FAF, short for “Fake As Flowers,” began in 2018 and gained cult popularity through capsule collections and pop-up events before launching full seasonal lines from Fall/Winter 2021. Their work consistently explores the contrast between the natural and the urban, making them a fitting partner for Keen’s hybrid philosophy.

The collaboration model is priced at ¥17,600 (tax included) and available in sizes 25–30 cm.
